Cabin News

The cabin's setting is truly awe-inspiring.  Every visit restores my soul.  In April 2020, Keith & I had planned a lovely splurge trip to Yosemite for our 40th but had to cancel due to Newsom's zombie apocalypse covid-19 shutdown order.  Instead, Allison presented us with a picnic dinner then we snuck down to Hume & remembered how much the cabin & environs mean to us.  We also restored the wood cookstove...

In 2019, Christal & Ben visited during a cold snap in April.  They used very little firewood or electricity so I can only guess how they stayed warm.  See their pics in the gallery.  Darren and Marcus & Alisha also visited.  Share some pics?  Please?  Keith & I made 4 trips to Hume and mostly did small projects and hikes near Hume.  See gallery!  In October, we hired Clovis Tree to climb & limb our pines and cut down a number of dead white firs so it looks tidy & fire-safe.  Hope you can visit soon!
