This is touchy and I'm sorry to bring it up, but we had some damage at the cabin in 2020.  I freely admit that Keith & I are finicky - we love the cabin & want to see it cherished but we can & do accept the usual wear & tear.  Katie & Darren both visited the cabin in June (at different times) & left it in excellent shape.  We had some other visitors who had difficulty showing respect to the cabin and, IMO, to their relatives who let them stay.  Two possible solutions: 

1- Charge more & hire a Hume local to check the place & clean or

2- Limit visitors to McCrary family only  

We have already cleaned up or repaired most of the items.  The carpet still needs shampooing (we just did it last July) and the whole place needs a thorough dusting.  Leave a comment below or talk to me privately.  Let's not make an issue of this - we just need to find a solution.
