Ellen's comments from email 4/21/15:

• It seems like the kitchen foundation/porch and the logs/clinking are the most urgent so they seem like they should be the focus this year.
  
•  I think it makes sense to do the foundation under the kitchen area.
  
• I like the kitchen porch so would prefer to duplicate it rather than eliminate it and just have stairs down from a landing.
  
•  If we have storage underneath the kitchen porch, I believe the permit requires that under-porch storage be enclosed which may be at odds with the historical preservation side of things.  An enclosed, lockable storage area would be useful if you can get approval for it (could also become another junk depository, too !!!).
